OK the car is virtually ready for Snetterton - just need to follow Cutting Edge's lead in fitting a fan over the motor to help keep it cool. A nice shiney titanium bracket is manufactured and a 40mm 5v fan will be fitted.
We are leaving at 6.15am so should be there at 7.15am - if anyone is there earlier save us a spot in the portacabin.
Looks like the four of us make up around a quarter of the 13.5 brushless field so almost guaranteed to be racing someone we know in the heats (I should say qualifying with really, but you know I hate that bit!!) so all we need is some decent weather on the day and we should be able to enjoy ourselves.

Weather's not looking good at all for Sunday q11
Just trying to work out how to waterproof the car with all the extra bits I've now added to it.
Ah well just have to see how it goes as it is.

Cars ready to go WET car all ready the Tamiya undertray fitted perfectly so all water tight just got to hope the Brushless does not thermal inside the tray  q2

Looks like its going to be a WET days racing and a lot of ESC could go up in smoke , at least we are allowed to run wet tyres  q19

Lets hope its DRY but I don't reckon it will be

I'll be looking to swap to 27T brushed class if it is wet - not prepared to run brushless in the wet as I don't want to destroy an ESC just for the sake of it.
If they won't/can't swap me I'll be somebody's 'pit bitch' for the day!
