Although I swapped to a Tamiya 416 for the STCC round at Brooklands last weekend, I'm still running the E4RS at most tracks.
I've not run at Yeovil before and looking at the club pictures, looks like a small and tight track. Stock brushed motors I run between 7.0 and 5.4. I would never go below 5.4.
At tracks like Eastbourne and Bashley, I've run anything as high as 7.0 before, as they are very tight tracks. More open and slowing tracks like West London or even the great Barham track was in the lower 5's.

Rule is to start at a safe ratio and work your way down. Obviously each driver is different and they work there motors in different ways. I rather let mine rev giving good corner speed rather than a low ratio and cooking the motors after 3 mins.

If you want any help setting up the E4, I can either post a couple of setups on the forum or I'll see you at Yeovil.
Never been to Yeovil before, so could be asking for your help !!  :smt002
