Post Is anyone camping when we travel to Eastbourne ??? Reply with quote
I want to book in but with Funds running low and the weather as it is I reckon I will have to camp if i book in for Eastbourne ....

Thats the trouble with being self employed no work no pay ... Bad weather can't work No pay .... Holidays , Bank Holidays No pay do i need to go on ..... Anyway is anyone camping at Eastbourne is there camping at the track ????

I can get a tent & sleeping bag cheaper than a hotel room ( never been camping in my life ) & it would be reusable  :D  :D

????????????????

Hey there Trev, if you want a lift, I would be more than happy to give you a lift down.

Hi Captain Thanks for the offer but its not a problem getting there I just don't want to drive for 3 hours Sunday morning then 3 Hours Sunday evening to get home

If I can camp at the track I will be going down on the Saturday morning to get some practice in Saturday afternoon

Pitch tent relax BBQ Beer and wait for Sunday to come all ready for a BIG fry up Sunday morning then onto the racing

I have a feeling you can camp at the track. Im sure some guys did last year for the BTCC event that got rained out. Best thing to do is contact someone like Tim Hancock who will know the details im sure (he is a regular Eastbourne driver)

Trev, just had a look on Central Booking and it looks like the decision has already been made for you. There are now 40/40 entries confirmed for TC3 at Eastbourne.
Not sure if you book in as a reserve you would get some kind of priority due to the number of rounds you are competing in.
Does anyone know if Mike is going to do that this year?

Hi Grey Fox I am only going to do Eastbourne for the club as we need another TC2 driver there as Matt Row is not attending that round , I know the TC3 is full but there are 5 places left in TC2 , Never know the recent form shown by the E4 I might be able to give Jo90 a run for his money in TC2

Good thinking Batman.

I've e-mailed Mike to see if he is going to operate a priority booking system for drivers booking in, say, 6+ rounds. I seem to recall it was operated last season.
Might even come and join you in TC2 if not and try to keep you honest!

That would be fun mate. I have never run the track so it will be a new one to me, but by then I should have a good grip on gearing the 10.5 and hopefully have a goos setup for the S400
