BTCC - SnettertonOK the car is virtually ready for Snetterton - just need to follow Cutting Edge's lead in fitting a fan over the motor to help keep it cool. A nice shiney titanium bracket is manufactured and a 40mm 5v fan will be fitted.
We are leaving at 6.15am so should be there at 7.15am - if anyone is there earlier save us a spot in the portacabin.
Looks like the four of us make up around a quarter of the 13.5 brushless field so almost guaranteed to be racing someone we know in the heats (I should say qualifying with really, but you know I hate that bit!!) so all we need is some decent weather on the day and we should be able to enjoy ourselves.

Cars ready to go WET car all ready the Tamiya undertray fitted perfectly so all water tight just got to hope the Brushless does not thermal inside the tray
Looks like its going to be a WET days racing and a lot of ESC could go up in smoke , at least we are allowed to run wet tyres
Lets hope its DRY but I don't reckon it will be

I'll be looking to swap to 27T brushed class if it is wet - not prepared to run brushless in the wet as I don't want to destroy an ESC just for the sake of it.
If they won't/can't swap me I'll be somebody's 'pit bitch' for the day!

Definitely a good day out for all the Coastal drivers, despite the rain for the last set of finals.
Great to see Leigh win both of his finals despite doing an passable impression of Ray Mears, and George winning both of his and therefore rubbing some salt into the wounds of the main series contestants from Scumacher teams!
Trevor didn't like round by round qualifying because despite posting the 2nd quickest time of the day, his other results meant he was one place behind me on the grid
Mark finally got it all together in the last final to post a good 2nd place as well so I think everyone went home happy - oh and the knowing smirk on El Capitano's face all day was a worrying feature!
