Fitting a Trackpower 4900 Lipo in an Origanal E4 PHOTOS

Here is how to fit a Lipo in an Origanal E4   :D

Parts to Dremmel are

1. Centre Brace this needs to be taken down to as thin as you dare on the inside of the top .

2. Underside of Steering mounts under top deck need to be taken down as low as you dare .

3. Battery tray needs slight grinding in the centre and to the front .

4. Middle shaft mount need to be squared up on the rear the top curve that would have wrapped round the cells needs removing .

5. The Aluminuim plate that 2 screws go into which hold the rear of the battery tray in needs slight grinding ( Only Slight ) .

6 The rear aluminium upper deck mount needs grinding back as far as you dare ( There won'y be a lot of it left ) BE CAREFUL .

7. The Top deck needs lifting up by 3mm ( The shim used on the rear Upper deck mount that you have grinded off needs grinding also )
& add a 3mm spacer under the ball stud onto the steering hub to try and keep the bump steer the same

8. Top deck needs to be drilled to allow for the 2 battery holes in the Trackpower ( I have also drilled out for the ballencer lead ) .

9. The centre brace will also need shimming up and slight dremmeling to stop the side belt rubbing on it where its been raised up .

I think thats it .........

This seems like a lot when you read it but my second E4 only took about 40 minutes to Mod  :)

Or you could buy the E4RS which will take most Lipos ( Not the Trackpower 4900 ) still needs the deck shimming so i have been told by TM  :D
