West London Raceway 2008

Well its our next port of call so lets start the discussion here its one of my favourite tracks  :smt003

PDHS

To begin i'd like to discuss the track layout in your photo Trev.

If they use this at the meeting we may have to drive with a little more concentration than usual.

Don't hold back Paul say what you mean YES I CAN SEE IT TO  :smt017
youngben

me and my dad went to west london on thursday and it was very sunny but we had no grip :smt022.
the track was very dust and stoney, got stone stuck in spur gear then we had to come home :smt010
dad thinks he has a rough idea for gearing  :smt038
Greyfox

Well come on then, what's his rough idea?
youngben

well dad said you wont need the big pinons :smt040
youngben

the gearing will depend on what track they run
we were praticing on the gp track layout and we started at 4.9 got down to 4.6 but as i said did not have any grip car sliding out every where. i think the car went much better on the 4.6 but it minght be a bit low didnt get a full 5 minuet run in because stones kept on getting in my car
Greyfox

4.5 - 4.7 sounds about right for the 13.5. Whichever layout they use, they do have a good long straight, and then the infield section will be a series of sweeping corners with one or two tricky bits.

When is the West London round of the championship?

Looks like the Weather is going to be OK thank God , as I just spent 2 hours in the garage rewiring the wet car only to find that when i put the top of the rain cover on it won't go due to the plugs in the reciver I sat on top of the servo

Can't be asked to redo it all again now it will have to act as the spare car in case its needed and a quick rewire if it is wet I am sure I can do it

Fingers crossed for Sun Sun Sun Sunday
