I run just two packs of Trakpower 4900's in 13.5 Brushless. Each 5 minute run takes around 1800mah out of them, so could in theory run each pack for two runs - but I don't.
Just put them back on charge between each run and that's it. Only other thing I do as far as maintenance is concerned is balance charge them at home before each meeting and they are then ready to be used straight away.
As to which packs to recommend, try and get a pack that is at least 30C as that will be able to give more amps when on high current draw such as initial acceleration, than a pack with 25C. New packs are starting to emerge all the time (there is a post in this section about the new Orion packs), but make sure whatever you buy is HARD-CASED, as we don't allow anything else.

The 4900 is a lot more powerful than the 3200 its not just the run time ... But the 3200 is still very very good and for the money they are great , the other option is the Demon Packs which are very good indeed and better priced also ............
